Purchase Engineer

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Experience of purchaese to procurement with fabrication manufacturing of paint booth, oven, powder coating booth , short blasting , DPT, SPT, tanks, conveyor , sheet metal, heavy fabrication, electrical, pneumatic , consumable , hardware, brought out materials related experience preferred .

A. Purchase Requisition & Requirement Coordination

Receive Purchase Requisitions / Material Requisitions from authorized departments.

Verify basic details such as item description, specification, quantity and required delivery date.

Check availability of required information before initiating procurement.

Coordinate with concerned departments for clarification of technical requirements.

Maintain proper records of purchase requisitions.

Follow up on pending approvals.

B. Vendor Enquiry & Quotation Collection

Identify vendors from the approved vendor database.

Send enquiries to approved/new potential suppliers as instructed.

Obtain quotations from vendors.

Collect technical and commercial information from suppliers.

Compare vendor quotations for price, delivery, payment terms and other commercial conditions.

Maintain quotation records.2. PURCHASE MIS & REPORTING

Assist in preparation and maintenance of:Purchase Requisition Pending Report Purchase Order Status Report,Vendor Quotation Register

Comparative Statement Register,Material Pending Report,Delivery Follow-up Report,Vendor-wise Purchase Report,Project-wise Purchase Report,Urgent Purchase Requirement Report,Monthly Purchase MIS.

3.SUPPLIER CONTROL SUPPORT

Assist in preparation and maintenance of:

Purchase Requisition Pending Report,Purchase Order Status Report,Vendor Quotation Register,Comparative Statement Register

Material Pending Report,Delivery Follow-up Report,Vendor-wise Purchase Report,Project-wise Purchase Report,Urgent Purchase Requirement Report,Monthly Purchase MIS.

Any significant supplier performance issue shall be reported to the 

Coordinate with the Purchase Executive/Manager for vendor selection.
