Job Description Summary

This role is responsible for leading all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for hospital interior fit-out projects. The QA/QC Manager ensures that all construction works meet project specifications, regulatory standards, healthcare facility requirements, and client expectations while maintaining the highest quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

 

 

Job Description

About the Role:

· Lead and manage all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for hospital interior fit-out projects from planning through project completion.

· Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans, quality procedures, inspection test plans (ITP), and quality documentation.

· Ensure all interior fit-out works comply with healthcare industry standards, project specifications, applicable codes, and regulatory requirements.

· Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and quality assessments to ensure workmanship and materials meet approved standards.

· Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and client representatives to address quality-related issues and ensure timely resolution.

· Review material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, mock-ups, and quality records prior to execution.

· Monitor installation quality for architectural finishes, MEP interfaces, healthcare-specific installations, and specialized hospital areas.

· Identify non-conformances, issue corrective actions, and follow up to ensure closure of quality observations.

· Maintain quality documentation, test reports, inspection records, punch lists, and project close-out quality requirements.

· Conduct quality training and awareness programs for project teams and contractors to promote a quality-driven culture.

· Ensure coordination of quality processes with project schedules, safety requirements, and client expectations.

· Ensure the contract between the client and Cushman & Wakefield is implemented in accordance with agreed quality standards and deliverables.

About You:

· Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

· Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control for construction projects, with significant exposure to hospital or healthcare interior fit-out projects.

· Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection methodologies, quality management systems, and construction best practices.

· Proven experience in managing quality processes for interior finishes, architectural works, MEP coordination, and healthcare facility requirements.

· Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

· Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, quality auditing techniques, and documentation control processes.

· Proficiency with quality management tools, MS Office, project documentation systems, and construction management software.
