Job Description

VMC Programmer – Autodesk PowerMill


We are looking for a VMC Programmer experienced in creating 2D & 3D machining programs using Autodesk PowerMill.


Key Responsibilities:


- Create and optimize 3D VMC toolpaths in PowerMill.

- Program roughing, finishing, drilling, profiling, and pocketing operations.

- Read engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.

- Select suitable cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies.

- Perform toolpath simulation and collision checking.

- Generate NC programs and support operators during setup and prove-out.

- Optimize programs for accuracy, surface finish, tool life, and cycle time.


Requirements:

Strong PowerMill knowledge, VMC machining experience, understanding of G-code, tooling, tolerances, and engineering drawings.
