Site Engineer

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the effective management and execution of site activities, including but not limited to:

• Site Management
• Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ and project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants and other site personnel.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Labour Management
• Manage and supervise labour and subcontractor teams at site.
• Allocate work and monitor productivity.
• Maintain discipline and proper utilization of manpower.
• Coordinate manpower requirements with the concerned management.
• Equipment & Tools Management
• Ensure proper availability and utilization of construction equipment, machinery and tools.
• Maintain records of tools and equipment issued at site.
• Ensure proper handling, storage and maintenance of equipment.
• Quality Control
• Monitor the quality of work and materials used at site.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved specifications and standards.
• Identify and report quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Safety Management
• Ensure compliance with all site safety rules and procedures.
• Ensure workers use appropriate PPE and follow safety practices.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents or accidents to the concerned authority.
• Ensure the site remains clean, organized and safe for all personnel.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain daily site records, labour reports, material records and work progress reports.
• Provide regular updates regarding site progress, manpower, materials, equipment and issues.
• Escalate delays, shortages, technical issues and other site-related concerns promptly.

Dress Code & Safety Requirements

• Employees are required to report to site in formal attire.
• Safety shoes are mandatory at the project site.
• All other PPE prescribed by the project/client must be worn as required.

The employee shall comply with all safety, security and access-control requirements of Honda R&D, Manesar.
