Fashion Designer

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop new fashion designs and collections according to brand requirements.
• Research current fashion trends, colors, fabrics, prints, and silhouettes.
• Create design concepts, mood boards, and detailed design sheets.
• Coordinate with sampling, production, merchandising, and sourcing teams.
• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, colors, and embellishments.
• Prepare and maintain tech packs / specification sheets where required.
• Follow up on samples and suggest modifications or improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of styles, samples, measurements, fabrics, and design developments.
• Update and maintain Google Sheets for style tracking, sampling status, costing, product details, and other design-related information.
• Ensure designs are practical, commercially viable, and aligned with the brand's aesthetic.
• Work within given timelines and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure timely completion of collections.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Fashion Designer.
• Degree/Diploma in Fashion Designing or a related field preferred.
• Good knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, prints, and embellishments.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends and commercial design.
• Good knowledge of Google Sheets / Google Workspace is mandatory.
• Ability to use spreadsheets for data entry, tracking, sorting, filtering, and maintaining design/product records.
• Knowledge of fashion design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar tools will be an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple styles/projects.
• Creative mindset with a practical understanding of production requirements.
