Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Videographer / Cameraperson with a news or agency background to join our team for coverage related to events, political functions and agency shoots. This role demands a professional who can work long hours, capture high-quality footage in fast-paced environments, and deliver compelling visual content for digital and broadcast platforms . Candidates must be comfortable with extensive travel and flexible shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends .

Key Responsibilities

·       Cover public campaign events, press conferences, rallies, and political activities .

·       Set up and operate professional video and audio equipment for single-camera and multi-camera shoots .

·       Shoot high-quality footage in both studio and on-location/event settings .

·       Edit raw footage into polished content using Adobe Premiere Pro .

·       Ensure proper lighting, audio capture, and smooth camera movements during shoots .

·       Coordinate on-ground logistics, access, and credentialing with campaign staff .

·       Transmit content live (via LiveU/backpack) or post-event following established workflows .

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

·       Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a videographer or photojournalist .

·       News/agency background with experience covering events or breaking news .

Technical Skills:

·       Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro .

·       Full knowledge of studio and event/on-location shoots .

·       Strong command of lighting setups (studio and outdoor) and audio recording equipment .

·       Experience with DSLR/Mirrorless camera systems (Sony Alpha, Canon, etc.) .

Desirable (Advantageous):

·       Experience in podcast shooting (multi-camera setup, audio coordination) .

·       Knowledge of gimbals and stabilization tools .

·       Drone videography skills (certification preferred) .

·       Product shoot experience .

Soft Skills:

·       Ability to work independently in high-stress, deadline-driven environments .

·       Willingness to work long hours, travel frequently, and cover unpredictable events .

·       Strong storytelling and visual composition skills .
