Account Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with practical knowledge of accounting, Tally Prime, and GST compliances. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day accounts and ensuring timely monthly GST filings and other accounting-related activities.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally Prime.
• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, and journal entries.
• Prepare and file monthly GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Perform GST reconciliation between books, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and purchase records.
• Maintain proper ledgers and supporting documents.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements and reconcile customer/vendor accounts.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure timely compliance with GST and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding accounting and GST matters.
• Required SkillsGood working knowledge of Tally Prime.
• Practical knowledge of GST monthly filing and compliance.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and meet compliance deadlines.

Preferred QualificationB.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent accounting qualification with relevant practical experience.
