Social Media Manager

We build enterprise software for businesses in the Gulf and India. We now want someone to build our brand's presence the way our products are built — with a plan, a system, and numbers to show for it.

This is not a posting-and-scheduling job. You will own the content engine end to end: what we say, how we say it, what we test, and what we do with the results.

What you'll own

• Monthly and weekly content strategy, calendars, and content pillars.
• Research: audiences, competitors, trends, creators, formats, hooks, and what's actually performing in our space.
• Production: Reels, Shorts, carousels, stories, posts — concepts, hooks, scripts, captions, CTAs, and creative direction.
• The full loop: Idea → Research → Production → Publishing → Analysis → Optimisation.
• Structured testing across formats, topics, and hooks to find what works for a B2B/tech audience.
• Reporting on reach, views, engagement, saves, shares, and follower growth — and acting on it.
• Working with the team on shoots, brainstorms, and production.

What we're looking for

• 1–3 years creating social content, in-house or agency. We care more about what you've made than where you made it.
• A portfolio you personally created — not work you sat next to.
• Comfortable on the tools: CapCut or Premiere, Canva or Figma, and the native editors.
• You can shoot and edit a Reel yourself on a phone. We provide the gear and the premium research, content, and analytics tools; we don't provide a production crew.
• English is essential.
• You can explain why you made a piece of content, what you expected, what actually happened, and what you changed next.
• Bonus: any experience making technical or B2B subject matter interesting to watch.

The first six months

Month 1–3: audit where we are, establish pillars and a publishing rhythm, ship consistently, build the reporting habit.

Month 4–6: a tested, repeatable format library and a clear growth strategy backed by your own performance data.

Compensation

₹17,500–20,000/month, depending on portfolio and experience

3 months: +15% on meeting agreed targets

6 months: a further +15% on continued performance

That's a realistic path from ₹18,000 to roughly ₹22,500 within six months at the entry band.

Targets are agreed in writing in your first two weeks and are weighted toward output and process — content shipped, tests run, reporting cadence — with growth metrics as a secondary band.

Location: On-site, Kolkata office

Schedule: 9 hours/day, 6 days/week, one weekly day off

Employment: Permanent, full-time

Tools: Premium marketing, content, research, and analytics tools provided
