Job Overview

We are looking for an energetic and goal-oriented Academic Counselor to join our team in Kolkata. In this role, you will interact with students and parents, guide them through various educational opportunities, and support them step-by-step through the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Counseling: Interact with prospective students and parents to understand their educational goals and guide them toward appropriate courses/programs.
• Inquiry Management: Handle inbound and outbound calls, leads, and walk-in inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Follow-ups: Maintain regular follow-ups with potential leads to ensure steady conversion and address any questions or concerns.
• Admission Support: Guide candidates through the complete application, documentation, and enrollment procedures.
• Target Achievement: Work towards meeting monthly enrollment goals and individual counselor targets.
• Database Maintenance: Keep accurate records of candidate interactions, follow-up schedules, and admission statuses in the system.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Graduate/Higher Secondary passed in any stream.
• Experience: Freshers and candidates with 0–2 years of experience in counseling, sales, or customer service are welcome to apply.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi (fluency in Bengali is an added advantage).
• Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, empathetic, and persuasive personality with a customer-first mindset.
• Basic Computer Knowledge: Comfortable with internet browsing, spreadsheets, and basic CRM/data management tool usage.
