Job Description: Assistant Sales Developer

Job Type: Full-time
Job Purpose
The Assistant Sales Developer focuses on expanding the agency distribution network by sourcing, onboarding, and training Life and Health Insurance Agents (Advisors/Consultants). This role centers on partner development, field support, and building long-term capability within the branch's agency force.
Key Responsibilities
1. Agent Sourcing & Network Expansion
* Prospect, recruit, and onboard high-potential Life and Health insurance advisors, financial planners, and POSP agents.
* Conduct agency orientation sessions and guide prospective agents through regulatory licensing (e.g., IRDAI exam) and registration processes.
* Expand the branch footprint through local field campaigns, referral networks, and community outreach.
2. Agency Sales Enablement & Coaching
* Conduct product training on individual life plans, term covers, critical illness riders, and health indemnity policies.
* Accompany new agents on joint field calls to assist in closing prospective life and health insurance sales.
* Organize daily morning huddles, product pitch refreshes, and objection-handling workshops.
Required Qualifications & Experience
* Education:HS or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
* Experience: 6 months–12 years in agency management, field sales, or candidate sourcing/talent acquisition.
* Licensing/Certifications: Prior IRDAI certification or knowledge of Life & Health underwriting guidelines is a plus.
