About the RoleWe are looking for a creative, trend-aware and performance-focused Video Editor who can transform raw footage, ideas and business concepts into engaging content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube videos, Facebook, LinkedIn and digital marketing campaigns.

This is not just a video-editing role. We are looking for someone who understands storytelling, social-media trends, audience attention and visual communication.

• Key ResponsibilitiesEdit engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and social-media videos.
• Edit long-form YouTube and business videos and convert them into multiple short-form clips.
• Create strong hooks in the first 2–3 seconds.
• Use jump cuts, dynamic captions, B-roll, zooms, transitions, sound effects and motion graphics appropriately.
• Add professional subtitles, text overlays and visual callouts.
• Perform colour correction, basic colour grading and audio enhancement.
• Create promotional videos for software products, brands, campaigns and advertisements.
• Develop creative video concepts in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Research current Instagram, YouTube and social-media video trends and adapt them appropriately.
• Use AI-assisted tools for video generation, captions, voiceovers, background removal, image generation and workflow acceleration.
• Maintain brand consistency across all video content.
• Repurpose one piece of content into multiple platform-specific formats.
• Organise project files, footage, assets and final exports properly.
• Deliver videos according to deadlines and content calendars.
• Analyse video performance and continuously improve editing style based on audience engagement.
• Required SkillsStrong understanding of short-form video editing and social-media content.
• Good storytelling and visual communication skills.
• Excellent sense of timing, pacing and audience retention.
• Knowledge of hooks, captions, B-roll and CTA placement.
• Good understanding of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts formats.
• Ability to create visually appealing motion graphics and text animations.
• Basic knowledge of sound design, music selection and audio mixing.
• Good knowledge of video formats, aspect ratios, resolution and compression.

Software & ToolsStrong proficiency in at least one professional editing platform:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• DaVinci Resolve
• CapCut

Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva and AI-powered creative tools will be an advantage. Current hiring trends increasingly include AI video tools alongside traditional editing software. (Foundit)

AI Skills – ImportantThe candidate should be comfortable experimenting with AI-powered video workflows.

Knowledge of tools for:
