Production Supervisor

Job Description

Dantura Botanics Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled, responsible, and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee daily nutraceutical manufacturing operations, maintain product quality, supervise production staff, and ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the production of vitamin, mineral, and nutraceutical formulations, including capsules and other dietary supplements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily nutraceutical manufacturing and packaging activities.
• Plan production schedules and ensure timely completion of production targets.
• Monitor raw material handling, weighing, blending, capsule filling, and packaging.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene, and safety standards.
• Maintain Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Batch Packaging Records (BPR).
• Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) departments.
• Monitor production machinery, equipment maintenance, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain inventory records for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
• Supervise production workers and allocate daily responsibilities.
• Minimize production wastage and maintain operational efficiency.
• Identify production issues and implement corrective measures.
• Ensure proper documentation, batch traceability, and production reporting.

Educational Qualifications

Essential:

• B.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related Science disciplines.
• OR B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Diploma or Degree in Pharmaceutical or Food Technology.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food supplement, or capsule manufacturing.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant production experience preferred.
• Candidates with experience in capsule manufacturing and nutraceutical production will receive preference.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of GMP and manufacturing SOPs.
• Understanding of capsule production, blending, filling, and packaging processes.
• Production planning and manpower management.
• Knowledge of batch documentation and quality control procedures.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Excel and production reporting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail, cleanliness, and workplace safety.
