Syona Experience is looking for a skilled Indian Breakfast Cook to manage the preparation of Indian snacks, chaat, breakfast and light Indian food as part of our café kitchen.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare Indian snacks, chaat and breakfast items according to the Syona menu.
• Prepare items such as samosa, kachori, dahi bada, papdi chaat, samosa chaat, raj kachori, tikki chole, vada, dosa, uttapam, vada pav, poha, upma, khichdi and chole bhature.
• Maintain consistent taste, quality, portion size and presentation.
• Prepare ingredients and maintain proper kitchen mise en place before service.
• Handle cooking efficiently during regular café operations and busy periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the cooking area, utensils and equipment.
• Follow proper food storage and handling practices.
• Minimise food wastage and maintain efficient use of ingredients.
• Coordinate with the existing kitchen team for smooth service.
• RequirementsPrevious experience as an Indian Cook in a café, restaurant, snack outlet or similar kitchen.
• Strong hands-on experience in chaat, Indian snacks and breakfast preparation.
• Must be able to independently prepare the core items listed above.
• Good understanding of Indian spices, cooking methods and preparation techniques.
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
• Ability to maintain consistent taste and quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a small, busy café kitchen.
• PreferredExperience working in a café or casual dining environment.
• Experience preparing food for small events and group bookings.
• Ability to handle preparation and service with minimal supervision.
