Job Description – Staff Nurse

Location: Raigad Hospital & Research Center

Department: Nursing

Employment Type: Full Time

Shift: Rotational

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing safe, compassionate and quality nursing care to patients and supporting doctors in clinical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide bedside nursing care and monitor patient condition/vital signs.
  • Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids and treatments as prescribed.
  • Assist doctors during rounds, procedures and emergencies.
  • Maintain nursing notes, medication charts and patient records.
  • Follow infection control, patient safety and biomedical waste protocols.
  • Handle patient admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
  • Maintain proper handover between shifts.
  • Coordinate with doctors and other hospital departments.
  • Maintain patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality.

Qualification: GNM /ANM/ B.Sc. Nursing with valid Nursing Council registration.

Experience: Freshers/experienced candidates may be considered as per hospital requirement
