Job Title: Optometrist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Optometrist to examine patients' eyes, diagnose vision problems, prescribe corrective lenses, and detect eye diseases. The ideal candidate should have excellent clinical skills and a patient-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations.
• Diagnose vision problems and eye conditions.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and vision correction solutions.
• Detect and manage common eye diseases and refer patients to ophthalmologists when necessary.
• Educate patients on proper eye care and vision health.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
• Operate and maintain optometry equipment.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree (as applicable).
• Valid Optometrist license/registration.
• Strong knowledge of eye examination techniques and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in retail optical or clinical practice.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Sales and customer service skills for optical products.
• Ability to explain treatment options clearly to patients.
