About the Role:

We are looking for a responsible, mature, and people-oriented Career Counselor & Team Leader who can guide students toward the right career path while also leading and supporting a team of career counselors.

This is not just a sales or counseling position. The person will be responsible for understanding students' aspirations, providing genuine career guidance, maintaining strong relationships with learners and parents, and ensuring that the counseling team delivers a professional and positive experience.

The ideal candidate should be someone who can lead by example, communicate with empathy, take ownership of responsibilities, and build a high-performing yet supportive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Career Counseling & Student Guidance
• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students and working professionals.
• Understand a student's education, skills, interests, career goals, and financial considerations.
• Recommend suitable courses, career paths, and learning programs based on the individual's requirements.
• Explain course structure, curriculum, career opportunities, placement support, and learning outcomes clearly and honestly.
• Build trust with students and parents through professional and transparent communication.
• Follow up with prospective students and help them make informed career decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of counseling interactions and student requirements in the CRM.
• Team Leadership & Management
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Career Counselors.
• Set daily, weekly, and monthly performance expectations for the team.
• Monitor counselor performance, lead follow-ups, conversions, and overall productivity.
• Conduct regular team meetings, reviews, and performance discussions.
• Listen to team members, understand their challenges, and provide practical solutions.
• Train new counselors on counseling techniques, communication, CRM usage, and company processes.
• Conduct call reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve counseling quality.
• Motivate the team to achieve targets without compromising professional ethics or student satisfaction.
