Reports To: Dealer Principal / General ManagerROLE SUMMARYResponsible for overall Service operations - customer satisfaction, workshop productivity, spare parts sales, warranty claims, and team management. Own the entire service experience from customer entry to vehicle delivery.1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESA. Workshop ManagementManage daily service operations - job card opening, bay allocation, technician productivityEnsure all vehicles are serviced on time - Free Service, Paid Service, Running Repairs, Accident RepairsMaintain TAT (Turn Around Time) - deliver vehicles as promisedEnsure quality check (Final Inspection) before every deliveryKeep workshop clean, tools in place, and follow 5SB. Customer HandlingGreet customers, understand complaints, explain service estimatesHandle escalated customer complaints politely and resolve quicklyTake care of Customer Satisfaction Score (CSI), Google ReviewsExplain service charges, spares replaced, and next service due date during deliveryFollow up on pending service, AMC, and feedback callsC. Team ManagementManage Service Advisors, Technicians, Washers, Cashier - daily briefing, target settingTrain technicians on new models (Bajaj, KTM, Chetak EV) and SOPsMake duty roster and monitor attendanceMotivate team for incentives and awardsD. Business & TargetsAchieve monthly targets: No. of vehicles serviced, Labour Revenue, Spare Parts Sale, Value Added Services (Teflon, AMC, Extended Warranty, RSA)Increase per-vehicle billing and spare parts per billControl free service cost and warranty costE. Technical & Company ComplianceFollow Bajaj / KTM / Chetak company SOPs for serviceEnsure warranty claims, job cards, and PDI are done in DMS / Company Portal on same dayCoordinate with company Area Service Manager (ASM) for audits and trainingMaintain all records - Job Cards, Warranty Claims, Accident Jobs, InsuranceF. Spare Parts CoordinationCoordinate with Spare Parts Manager to ensure fast-moving spares always in stockCheck for non-moving spares and plan offersEnsure genuine spares only used2. SKILLS REQUIREDStrong technical knowledge of Bajaj, KTM, and EV (Chetak) two wheelersExcellent customer handling and communication in Tamil & EnglishLeadership - ability to handle 10-15 people teamComputer knowledge - DMS, Excel, WhatsApp, Company PortalValid 2-Wheeler License mandatory3. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCEDiploma / B.E in Automobile / Mechanical preferred5+ years experience in 2-wheeler service as Service Manager / Assistant Service Manager / Senior AdvisorExperience in Authorised Service Center is a must4.
