Job Description
- Logistics & Routing: Plan, monitor, and optimize daily delivery or transit schedules to minimize travel time and fuel costs.
- Fleet Management: Oversee vehicle dispatch, maintenance schedules, repairs, and overall roadworthiness.
- Driver & Vendor Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between drivers, external hauliers, vendors, and internal staff.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to transport laws, safety standards, security protocols, and statutory regulations.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain transport logs, track proof of delivery (POD), manage vendor billing/invoicing, and generate operational reports.
- Problem Resolution: Handle real-time disruptions such as vehicle breakdowns, traffic delays, or urgent customer inquiries.
