Job Description
Patient Greeting: Welcome patients and visitors warmly, verify identification or insurance details, and direct them to the appropriate department or provider.
Call Management: Answer multi-line phone systems, screen or forward calls, and relay messages to clinical staff.
Scheduling: Book, reschedule, or confirm patient appointments and manage provider calendars.
Billing and Payments: Collect co-pays, process payments, and update financial or insurance records.
Record Keeping: Maintain patient data in electronic medical record (EMR) systems while safeguarding confidentiality.
