responsible for identifying hazards, enforcing regulations, and maintaining a safe work environment. Nickel alloy production involves high-risk activities such as handling molten metal, operating high-temperature furnaces, managing chemical leaching or refining agents, and controlling toxic dust or fumes.

Conduct regular safety audits, Assess specific risks, Evaluate workplace ergonomics

Occupational Health & Hygiene Management

• Monitor airborne contaminants including nickel dust, metallic fumes, and specialized chemical vapors, ensuring exposures remain well below Permissible Exposure Limits (PEL).
• Oversee industrial hygiene sampling and collaborate with occupational health teams to coordinate routine medical surveillance (e.g., pulmonary function tests) for employees exposed to nickel compounds.
• Enforce strict PPE protocols, selecting and maintaining specialized gear such as aluminized fire-resistant suits, respiratory protection (PAPR), and heavy-duty thermal gloves.

Regulatory Compliance & Reporting

• Maintain complete compliance with relevant safety authorities (e.g., OSHA, EU-OSHA, or local equivalents) and environmental management systems like ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Investigate all near-misses, incidents, and injuries, utilizing root cause analysis (RCA) to implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Prepare and submit safety performance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.

Training & Emergency Response Plan (ERP)

• Design and deliver safety training modules covering confined space entry, lockout/tagout (LOTO), fall protection, and crane/forklift operations.
• Develop and test emergency response procedures specifically tailored for molten metal breakouts, toxic gas leaks, and chemical spills.
• Lead the plant safety committee and conduct regular emergency evacuation and rescue drills.
