Job Description
Rakesh Enterprises (Est. 1962) is a Jaipur-based construction and interiors firm executing government, heritage, institutional and turnkey interior projects. We need a draftsman who can convert site measurements and concept sketches into working drawings, 3D visuals and quantity sheets.
Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D working drawings in AutoCAD — plans, elevations, sections, furniture layouts, electrical/plumbing layouts, GFC sets
- Build 3D models and produce photorealistic renders (SketchUp + V-Ray / Enscape / Lumion, or 3ds Max)
- Generate realistic AI-based visuals from models and sketches (Veras, Enscape AI, Lumion AI, Midjourney / Stable Diffusion or similar)
- Extract quantities from AutoCAD drawings of ongoing projects and prepare measurement sheets in Excel
- Prepare running account and final bills from drawings and site measurements, in CPWD / DSR item format
- Prepare shop drawings for interiors, furniture, structural steel and museum showcases
- Take site measurements and prepare as-built drawings
- Coordinate with site engineers and designers; turn around revisions quickly
- Maintain organised drawing files, layers, blocks and revision records
Requirements
- Diploma / ITI in Civil, Architecture or Interior Design
- Strong AutoCAD command with a 3D modeling and rendering portfolio — mandatory, share samples with application
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, V-Ray/Enscape/Lumion, 3ds Max or Revit; exposure to AI image tools preferred
- Comfortable with quantity take-off and billing in MS Excel; knowledge of DSR/CPWD items an advantage
- Able to read architectural and structural drawings; Photoshop a plus
Location: Sethi Colony, Jaipur — office-based with occasional site visits
