Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Boiler Operator responsible for safe and efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of boiler systems to ensure uninterrupted steam supply for plant operations.

• Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor boilers and associated equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain required steam pressure, temperature, water level, and other operating parameters.
• Monitor boiler performance and identify abnormalities or breakdown conditions.
• Carry out routine inspection of boiler, pumps, valves, gauges, burners and related equipment.
• Maintain proper boiler water level and coordinate water treatment activities.
• Perform boiler start-up and shutdown procedures as per SOP and safety requirements.
• Record boiler readings, fuel consumption, steam generation and operating parameters.
• Ensure proper fuel handling and efficient boiler operation.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures, SOPs and statutory requirements related to boiler operation.
• Maintain housekeeping around the boiler and utility area.
• Immediately report leakage, pressure fluctuations, equipment failure or other unsafe conditions.
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of boiler operation and steam systems.
• Knowledge of boiler safety and troubleshooting.
• Ability to monitor pressure, temperature, water level and fuel consumption.
• Basic understanding of pumps, valves and utility equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in shifts.
