Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Relationship Officer (RO) to generate and manage motor insurance business. The candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers, handling renewals, building relationships with existing customers, and achieving sales targets for motor insurance products.

Key Responsibilities

Generate leads and acquire new customers for motor insurance.

Sell car, two-wheeler, commercial vehicle and other motor insurance policies.

Handle policy renewals and ensure timely follow-up with customers.

Explain policy coverage, premiums, add-ons, terms and conditions to customers.

Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations, policy issuance, endorsements and other requirements.

Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and generate repeat business.

Follow up on leads through calls, WhatsApp and direct meetings.

Achieve monthly/quarterly sales and renewal targets.

Maintain accurate customer and sales records.

Coordinate with the operations/claims team to assist customers when required.

Identify cross-selling and referral opportunities.

Stay updated on insurance products, pricing and regulatory requirements.

Candidate Requirements

Graduate preferred; 12th pass candidates with relevant sales experience may also apply.

0–3 years of experience in motor insurance, general insurance, BFSI, automobile sales or field sales.

Good communication and convincing skills.

Basic knowledge of MS Office/CRM and WhatsApp.

Target-oriented and comfortable with follow-ups.

Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred for field-sales roles.

Salary & Incentives

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Attractive sales incentives/commissions based on performance upto ₹5,000 .
