Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily production activities and ensure achievement of production targets.
• Supervise shop-floor operations, machine operators and production workers.
• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D mechanical models using SolidWorks.
• Develop mechanical designs, assemblies and manufacturing drawings.
• Monitor machine performance and minimize production downtime.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and other departments.
• Ensure product quality and reduce rejection and material wastage.
• Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation.
• Modify existing designs as per manufacturing and production requirements.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines and raw materials
• Implement 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
• Resolve technical and production-related issues.

Required Skills

• B.E. / B.Tech. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of Production & Manufacturing Processes.
• Practical knowledge of SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of 2D Drafting and 3D Modelling.
• Understanding of Mechanical Drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of Production Planning and Shop Floor Management.
• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen and Quality Control.
• Basic MS Excel and Computer Knowledge.
• Good Problem-Solving and Communication Skills.

Experience Required

• Minimum 1 year to Maximum 10 years.
• Practical SolidWorks
