You Are

You have spent time in verification environments where the difference between a clean tape-out and a schedule slip often comes down to how fast someone can debug a simulation failure at 2am. You know your way around SystemVerilog testbenches, and you have stared at waveforms long enough to spot the signal toggle that should not be there. You are the person teammates come to when something breaks in a way that does not make sense yet.

Working directly with customers energizes you. You do not just want to hand over a solution, you want to understand the problem first, ask the right questions, and propose something that actually fits their flow. You are comfortable on a call with a design team in another timezone, walking through a debug scenario or explaining why a coverage hole matters.

You learn fast. New methodologies, new tools, new customer designs, you adapt without needing six months of ramp time. At Synopsys, you will work with verification engineers who are solving real problems on real chips, and the solutions you help deliver will directly affect whether those chips make it to production on time.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support customers using Synopsys verification tools like VCS and Verdi, diagnosing simulation issues, debug challenges, and coverage gaps in their design flows
• Analyze customer testbenches and design environments to identify root causes of verification failures and propose technical solutions that fit their methodology
• Work on verification challenges involving SystemVerilog, UVM, low power verification, and coverage-driven workflows across diverse customer projects
• Collaborate with Synopsys R&D teams to escalate complex issues, contribute to product improvements, and bring customer feedback into the development cycle
• Build scripts in Tcl, Python, or Perl to automate workflows, replicate customer issues, or demonstrate best practices
• Guide customers through tape-out cycles, helping them stay on schedule by resolving verification bottlenecks quickly and effectively
• Travel occasionally to customer sites for onsite technical engagements, training, or critical project support

• You will build a knowledge base of customer use cases and solutions that benefits the broader applications engineering team across global locations

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience in verification or digital design, or a Master's degree in Electronics
• Strong fundamentals in digital design and hands-on experience with Verilog or VHDL
• Working knowledge of SystemVerilog and dynamic simulation concepts, including testbench development and debug
• Proficiency in UNIX or Linux environments and scripting with Tcl, Python, or Perl
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will be interfacing directly with customers to understand their challenges and explain technical solutions clearly
• Experience with Synopsys tools like VCS or Verdi is a strong plus
• Exposure to UVM, coverage-driven verification, or low power verification flows is advantageous

The Team You'll Be Part Of

You will join the Customer Success Group in Hyderabad, a team focused on building strong technical partnerships with customers and helping them solve high-value verification challenges. You will work closely with domain experts across global locations, including R&D, sales, and other applications engineers, in a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing and continuous learning are part of the culture. The team supports customers throughout their tape-out schedules, and your role will directly contribute to their success in verifying complex chip designs on time.
