Store Executive

We need an experienced Store Executive to take full ownership of the factory store. Every kg of steel, every welding rod and every tool should be accounted for.

What you will do:

Receiving Materials

• Receive all incoming material: MS pipes, sections and sheets, PUF and sandwich panels, cement boards, paint, electrical and plumbing items, and consumables
• Check quantity, weight, size and quality against the Purchase Order before accepting
• Prepare a GRN (Goods Receipt Note) for every delivery, and reject or return wrong or damaged material

Storage & Organisation

• Keep the store clean, labelled and organised, with a fixed place for every item
• Store steel, boards and panels properly to prevent rust, damage and theft
• Follow FIFO, so older stock is used first

Issuing Materials

• Issue material to production only against an approved MRN (Material Requisition Note)
• Record every issue project-wise, so we know the exact material used in each job
• Track returns of unused material from the shop floor and from sites

Stock Control

• Maintain daily stock registers in Excel or Tally, updated the same day
• Conduct weekly physical stock checks and a monthly full reconciliation
• Set minimum stock levels and raise purchase requests before material runs out, so production never stops
• Track project-wise consumption against the BOQ and report excess usage or wastage

Tools & Consumables

• Maintain a tools issue register (grinders, welding machines, drills and hand tools), with daily issue and return
• Control consumables (welding rods, cutting wheels, gas cylinders, paint) to prevent misuse and wastage

Scrap & Dispatch

• Weigh, record and store scrap and offcuts, and support scrap sales with proper records
• Prepare material lists and checklists for site dispatches, and track material sent to sites

Reporting

• Send a daily stock and issue report, and a weekly consumption and shortage report, to the management
• Coordinate with the Production Supervisor, the purchase team and vendors

Who we’re looking for:

• 3–6 years of store or inventory experience in a steel fabrication, PEB, construction, engineering or manufacturing company
• Good knowledge of steel materials (pipes, sections, sheets) and their sizes, weights and grades
• Hands-on with GRN, MRN, stock registers and physical stock verification
• Working knowledge of MS Excel. Tally is a bonus.
• Honest, disciplined and strict with records. Zero tolerance for missing material.
• Fluent in Telugu and Hindi, with basic English
• Stable career: at least 2 years in one company. Frequent job changes will not be considered.

What we offer:

• ₹22,000 – ₹30,000 in hand, based on experience
