Job Description: Social Media Video Creator & Videographer

About the Role
We are looking for a creative and energetic Social Media Video Creator who can handle end-to-end video production, including video shooting, editing, and creating engaging content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
The ideal candidate should have a good sense of storytelling, current social media trends, camera handling, and video editing.
Key Responsibilities
- Shoot high-quality videos using cameras, smartphones, and other video equipment.
- Plan, shoot, and edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, and brand content.
- Create engaging short-form videos based on social media trends.
- Handle camera setup, lighting, framing, audio recording, and basic production requirements.
- Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar software.
- Add transitions, subtitles, motion graphics, background music, and sound effects.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for content ideas, scripts, and shoot schedules.
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, product videos, and promotional content.
- Optimize video formats, duration, captions, and aspect ratios for different platforms.
- Maintain video files, organize footage, and deliver projects within deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, editing styles, and viral content formats.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in video shooting and editing.
- Knowledge of camera operations, composition, lighting, and audio recording.
- Proficiency in at least one professional or mobile video editing tool.
- Understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media formats.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and good storytelling skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous video work is preferred.
- Willingness to travel locally for shoots, if required.
Working Conditions
- Employment type: Full-time
- Working days: 5–6 days per week, depending on company policy
- Working hours: As per company schedule
- Additional shoot hours or travel may occasionally be required, with expectations clarified in advance.
- Experience in video shooting and editing.
