Site Supervisor

Job Purpose

To supervise and coordinate industrial concrete flooring works at project sites, ensuring proper execution, quality, safety, manpower utilization and timely completion of work as per company and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution

• Supervise daily industrial concrete flooring activities at site.
• Ensure flooring work is carried out as per drawings, specifications and site instructions.
• Monitor floor preparation, concrete laying, leveling, finishing, cutting, jointing and repair works.
• Check floor levels, thickness, slopes and finishing quality.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers and client representatives.

Manpower Management

• Allocate daily work to workers and subcontractors.
• Monitor attendance, productivity and discipline of site manpower.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower and timely completion of assigned activities.

Machinery & Tools

• Supervise the proper use of flooring machines, tools and equipment.
• Coordinate machine availability at site.
• Report machine breakdowns and maintenance requirements immediately.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of tools and equipment.

Material Management

• Check materials received at site and ensure proper storage.
• Monitor daily material consumption and wastage.
• Inform management about material requirements in advance.
• Ensure proper handling of concrete, hardeners, chemicals and other flooring materials.

Quality Control

• Check the quality of work during every stage of execution.
• Identify defects and coordinate for immediate rectification.
• Minimize rework and material wastage.
• Ensure work meets company quality standards and client requirements.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Ensure workers follow all site safety rules and use required PPE.
• Coordinate with the Safety Officer for safety compliance.
• Maintain proper housekeeping at the work area.
• Immediately report accidents, unsafe conditions or safety violations.

Site Reporting

• Prepare daily progress reports.
• Record manpower, material consumption and work completed.
• Assist in taking measurements of completed flooring work.
• Report site progress, delays, material shortages and other issues to the Project Manager.
