Job Purpose

To manage incoming sales enquiries, handle IndiaMART leads, coordinate with customers and the sales team, maintain regular follow-ups, and ensure timely collection of outstanding customer payments.

Key Responsibilities

1. IndiaMART Lead Management

* Monitor and respond promptly to incoming IndiaMART enquiries.

* Contact prospective customers by phone, WhatsApp and email.

* Understand customer requirements and identify genuine sales opportunities.

* Share product details, catalogues, quotations and technical information.

* Update lead status and maintain a proper enquiry database.

* Follow up regularly until the enquiry converts into an order or is closed.

2. Regular Sales Enquiry Handling

* Handle enquiries received through phone calls, WhatsApp, email and existing customers.

* Follow up on quotations and pending offers.

* Coordinate with sales engineers, technical teams and management.

* Keep customers updated on order status, delivery schedules and service coordination.

* Maintain records of enquiries, quotations, orders and customer interactions.

3. Customer Payment Follow-up

* Regularly follow up with customers for outstanding payments.

* Maintain customer-wise outstanding and overdue payment reports.

* Send payment reminders through calls, WhatsApp and email.

* Coordinate with the accounts department to verify receipts and pending balances.

* Escalate overdue payments and payment commitments to management.

* Maintain a record of promised payment dates and actual collections.

4. Sales Reporting and Administration

* Prepare daily reports covering new leads, calls, follow-ups, quotations and orders.

* Maintain an updated customer database and sales follow-up tracker.

* Prepare daily pending-payment and overdue-payment reports.

* Ensure no important enquiry, quotation or payment commitment is missed.

* Support management in routine sales administration and customer coordination.

Required Skills

* Good communication skills in English, Telugu and Hindi.

* Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, email and WhatsApp.

* Ability to handle IndiaMART enquiries and customer follow-ups.

* Good telephone etiquette and customer relationship skills.

* Strong follow-up discipline and attention to detail.

* Ability to maintain accurate sales and payment records.

* Prior experience in industrial sales coordination is preferred.

Performance Measurement (KPIs)

* Speed of response to new enquiries.

* Number of leads contacted and followed up.

* Follow-up completion rate for quotations.

* Enquiry-to-order conversion support.

* Timely follow-up of overdue customer payments.

* Accuracy of daily sales and outstanding reports.

* Customer communication and coordination quality.
