BUILDING SECURITY SUPERVISOR – JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Building Security Supervisor

Job Summary:

Responsible for supervising security operations at the building/client premises and ensuring the safety and security of employees, visitors, assets, and property.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and manage security guards and shift deployment.

* Prepare and monitor daily duty rosters and attendance.

* Ensure guards report on time and are deployed at designated posts.

* Conduct regular security patrols and inspections.

* Monitor CCTV, access control, visitor entry, and vehicle movement.

* Ensure proper checking of employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors.

* Maintain security registers, incident reports, visitor records, and shift handover records.

* Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, fire alarms, and other critical situations.

* Coordinate with client management, facility team, police, fire department, and emergency services when required.

* Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks for security personnel.

* Ensure guards follow site SOPs, uniform standards, discipline, and security procedures.

* Report incidents, violations, suspicious activities, and security risks to the Operations Manager/Client.

* Support emergency evacuation and crowd-control procedures.

* Ensure proper shift handover and continuous security coverage.

* Train and guide security personnel on site-specific procedures.

Required Skills:

* Good communication and leadership skills.

* Knowledge of security operations and access-control procedures.

* Ability to manage a security team and handle emergencies.

* Basic computer and report-writing skills.

* Good observation and decision-making ability.

* Previous building/corporate security experience preferred.

Qualification:

12th Pass / Graduate preferred. Previous security supervisory experience preferred. Ex-servicemen candidates may be preferred.
