Job Summary:

The Hospital Receptionist is responsible for welcoming patients and visitors, managing appointments, handling telephone calls, maintaining patient records, and coordinating with hospital departments to provide efficient and courteous front-desk service.

• Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist patients, attendants, and visitors.
• Register new and existing patients.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm doctor appointments.
• Answer and transfer telephone calls professionally.
• Provide information about doctors, departments, services, and timings.
• Maintain and update patient records accurately.
• Guide patients to the appropriate departments or consultation rooms.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments.
• Handle patient queries and complaints politely.
• Assist with billing and payment-related queries when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Manage forms, reports, documents, and other front-office records.
• Keep the reception area organized and professional.

Required Qualifications :

Graduate.

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good English communication; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
• Pleasant, polite, and professional personality.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle multiple tasks.
• Previous hospital or front-office experience is preferred.

Qualification:

• Graduate. Previous receptionist or front-office experience is preferred but may not be mandatory.
