Job Description
Network Engineer – NGSS Role Overview:
As a Network Engineer at Next Generation Simple Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (NGSS), the role involves designing, implementing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining secure and reliable network infrastructure for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and network devices.
- Install and configure LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, VLAN, and network security solutions.
- Perform firewall configuration, security policies, NAT, routing, and VPN setup.
- Configure and troubleshoot Sophos, Fortinet, Cisco, TP-Link, Ruckus, and other networking solutions.
- Install and configure servers, racks, structured cabling, and network infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Conduct site surveys and understand customer infrastructure requirements.
- Perform network testing, optimization, and documentation.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal sales teams.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support.
- Prepare installation reports and network documentation.
- Ensure successful project implementation and customer handover.
Preferred Skills:
Networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, routing & switching, firewall technologies, Wi-Fi, troubleshooting, and good customer communication skills.
