IT Technical Field Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Field Engineer on a contract basis to deliver high-quality, on-site technical support and field service solutions. In this role, you will work closely with our project delivery team to ensure successful site deployments, troubleshooting, and infrastructure upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Site Field Operations: Perform hands-on troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of networking and IT infrastructure across client sites.
• Delivery & Collaboration: Partner closely with internal delivery teams and project managers to complete client scope accurately and on schedule.
• Client Engagement: Deliver outstanding, professional customer service while acting as the primary technical contact on-site.
• Problem-Solving & Diagnostics: Rapidly diagnose and resolve complex network, wireless, and hardware issues in real time.

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Certifications: Active CCNA (or equivalent) – not mandatory ; Ekahau or Wi-Fi survey experience strongly preferred.
• Field Experience: Proven track record as a field engineer with multiple years of hands-on experience in on-site technical support and infrastructure deployments.
• Vendor Expertise: Familiarity with major vendor hardware (e.g., Cisco, HP, Dell/Aruba) is a strong plus.
• Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and customer support skills with a professional demeanor on client sites.
• Independence & Flexibility: Ability to work autonomously, adapt to irregular or project-based hours, and travel to exciting job locations as required.
