Factory Supervisor

We are looking for a motivated and responsible Fresher to join our factory team as a Factory Supervisor. The candidate will assist in managing day-to-day production activities and coordinate with workers to ensure that work is completed properly and on time.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and coordinate daily factory production activities.

* Allocate work to carpenters, machine operators and other workers.

* Monitor daily production progress and ensure work is completed on schedule.

* Understand and follow production drawings and instructions.

* Coordinate with the design, purchase and installation teams.

* Check availability of materials required for production.

* Monitor material usage and minimize unnecessary wastage.

* Check the quality and dimensions of finished products.

* Identify production mistakes and coordinate for corrections.

* Maintain daily production and manpower records.

* Track completed and pending work for each project.

* Assist in packing, labelling and dispatch of finished products.

* Monitor factory cleanliness, discipline and safety.

* Report production delays, material shortages or quality issues to management.

* Learn and understand factory machinery and production processes.

Candidate Requirements

* Diploma / ITI / B.Tech / B.E. / Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Interior Design or related field preferred.

* Freshers are welcome to apply.

* Basic knowledge of MS Excel and computers.

* Good communication and coordination skills.

* Ability to manage and communicate with workers.

* Willingness to learn furniture manufacturing and interior production.

* Good observation and problem-solving skills.

* Should be responsible, punctual and disciplined.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment.

Preferred Skills

* Basic understanding of modular furniture/interior works.

* Ability to read basic drawings.

* Knowledge of plywood, MDF, laminates and hardware is an advantage.

* Interest in learning CNC, cutting, edge-banding, drilling and assembly processes.
