Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum & Lesson Planning: Design and execute daily lesson plans that meet state or board educational standards.
  • Literature Analysis: Guide students in reading, analyzing, and interpreting classic and contemporary novels, poetry, and drama.
  • Writing & Grammar: Teach advanced writing techniques, sentence structure, editing, and vocabulary.
  • Assessments: Grade essays, exams, and projects, providing constructive feedback to improve student performance.
  • Student Mentorship: Act as an advisor or mentor, addressing students' academic struggles and helping them build confidence.
  • Parent-Teacher Communication: Conduct regular meetings to update parents or guardians on student progress and behavior.
