About the Role
National Dental Care is looking for a BDS-qualified Doctor to join our Corporate Office in a non-clinical clinical quality role. The position is responsible for reviewing and monitoring the documentation of dental cases completed across our clinics and ensuring that clinical standards, treatment protocols, and documentation practices are consistently followed.
The role will involve working closely with clinic-based dentists and operations teams to identify gaps, improve clinical documentation, maintain quality standards, and support continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Case Documentation Review
Review clinical records and documentation of dental cases completed at National Dental Care clinics.
Verify that patient records are complete, accurate, and appropriately maintained.
Review treatment plans, clinical notes, investigation reports, consent documentation, photographs, prescriptions, and other relevant case records.
Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent documentation and communicate the same to the respective clinic teams.
Ensure documentation is maintained according to organizational policies and clinical protocols.
2. Clinical Quality Monitoring
Conduct periodic quality audits of cases handled by clinic-based dentists.
Assess whether treatment documentation and clinical decision-making are aligned with established standards and protocols.
Identify variations, gaps, and areas requiring improvement.
Monitor compliance with National Dental Care's clinical guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Prepare quality observations and reports for management review.
3. Doctor Performance & Clinical Audit Support
Review cases handled by clinical doctors to assess adherence to expected clinical and documentation standards.
Identify recurring quality issues and provide constructive feedback to doctors and clinic teams.
Support the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Track improvement in clinical quality and documentation over time.
Escalate significant or repeated quality concerns to the appropriate clinical leadership.
4. Quality Improvement
Work with the Clinical Operations team to improve clinical documentation processes.
Help develop and update clinical checklists, documentation standards, and audit parameters.
Identify opportunities to improve patient records, treatment documentation, and clinical workflows.
Participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives and internal audits.
5. Reporting & Coordination
Prepare periodic reports on clinical documentation and quality compliance across clinics.
Maintain audit records and track closure of identified gaps.
Coordinate with clinic doctors, clinic managers, and corporate teams regarding audit findings.
Present key observations and trends to the Clinical Operations / Management team when required.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of general dental clinical procedures and treatment protocols.
- Good knowledge of dental case documentation and clinical record-keeping.
- Strong analytical and auditing skills.

- Ability to identify clinical and documentation gaps.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide professional and constructive feedback to practicing dentists.
- Good knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace and documentation systems.
- Ability to work with large volumes of clinical records.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and clinical information.
- Good understanding of quality assurance and process improvement principles.
Eligibility
BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the relevant Dental Council.
Clinical experience as a dentist is preferred.
Experience in clinical auditing, quality assurance, dental documentation, healthcare operations, or clinical coordination will be an added advantage.
Candidates with experience working with multiple dental clinics or healthcare organizations will be preferred.
Important Note
This is a non-clinical corporate role. The selected candidate will not be required to perform dental procedures or provide direct patient treatment.
The primary responsibility will be to review completed clinical cases, verify documentation, monitor adherence to clinical standards, assess the quality of work performed by clinic-based doctors, identify gaps, and support continuous clinical quality improvement across National Dental Care clinics.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a BDS Doctor with strong clinical knowledge and excellent attention to detail who is interested in moving into a corporate, non-clinical role. The candidate should be comfortable reviewing dental cases, evaluating documentation, identifying quality gaps, communicating with practicing dentists, and contributing to standardized clinical quality across a growing dental network.
