Data and AI Engineer, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 6 years of experience architecting and deploying enterprise-grade cloud data platforms, incorporating both streaming and batch processing workflows.
• Experience writing software in Python, Scala, R, or similar and experience with Gemini models, ADK, Gemini Enterprise and other google AI products.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design and with solution engineering, stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with recommendation engines, data pipelines, or distributed machine learning. Experience with data analytics, data visualization techniques and software, and deep learning frameworks.
  
• Experience in software development, professional services, solution engineering, technical consulting. Expertise in architecting and rolling out new technology and solution initiatives.
  
• Experience with core Data Science techniques.
  
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments.
  
• Knowledge of cloud computing, including virtualization, hosted services, multi-tenant cloud infrastructures, storage systems, and content delivery networks and effective customer-facing communication and listening skills.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advisory on architectural frameworks and operational best practices for comprehensive Agentic platforms, encompassing deployment, monitoring, evaluation, governance, and security protocols.
  
• Lead pre-sales and solutioning efforts for large Data & AI agreements and lead comprehensive artificial intelligence initiatives through strategic thought leadership, while identifying agentic workflows and designing robust architectural solutions for advanced agentic implementations.
• Deliver effective big data and machine learning solutions and solve complex technical customer challenges.
  
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to Google’s most strategic customers.
  Identify new product features and feature gaps, provide guidance on existing product challenges, and collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to influence the roadmap of Google Cloud Platform.
  
• Provide expert guidance on architectural data strategies to ensure optimized utilization across AI models.
