Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities – Accountant | Madhukant TradersHandle day-to-day accounting in Tally, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, journal entries, debit notes and credit notes.
  • Maintain and reconcile customer and supplier ledgers.
  • Monitor receivables and payables, prepare ageing reports and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Handle bank accounting and bank reconciliation on a regular basis.
  • Manage GST, TDS and other statutory accounting requirements, coordinating with the CA/tax consultant.
  • Verify and record purchase invoices, sales invoices, GST details and supporting documents.
  • Maintain inventory-related accounting and coordinate with the warehouse team for stock reconciliation.
  • Prepare MIS reports for management covering sales, purchases, outstanding receivables/payables, stock, expenses and profitability.
  • Track cash flow, upcoming payments and bank balances and report the same to management.
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers, banks, CA/auditors and internal teams regarding accounting-related matters.
  • Maintain proper documentation, filing and audit records.
  • Assist in monthly/annual closing of accounts and audit requirements.
  • Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution and accurate books of accounts.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of company financial information.
