Warehouse Associate

Job Purpose:

To support daily warehouse operations by ensuring proper receipt, storage, organization, picking, packing, and dispatch of materials and finished goods while maintaining inventory accuracy and warehouse cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in receiving, unloading, checking, and arranging incoming materials and finished products.
2. Support the storage and systematic organization of stock, fabrics, garments, and other company products.
3. Pick, count, pack, label, and prepare products for dispatch as per instructions.
4. Assist in loading and unloading goods while ensuring safe handling of materials.
5. Update stock records and report any discrepancies, shortages, damages, or missing items to the reporting manager.
6. Conduct physical stock counts and assist in periodic inventory verification.
7. Maintain warehouse cleanliness, orderliness, and proper storage practices.
8. Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage, especially delicate fabrics and handcrafted Kalamkari products.
9. Coordinate with the warehouse, production, sales, and dispatch teams to ensure timely movement of goods.
10. Follow company procedures for material handling, stock movement, and workplace safety.
11. Assist with packing materials, inventory documentation, and other warehouse-related activities as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: 10th / Intermediate; higher qualification is an advantage.
• Previous warehouse or inventory experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic counting, reading, and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to handle physical work, including lifting and moving goods safely.
• Basic computer knowledge is an added advantage.
• Must be disciplined, punctual, honest, and attentive to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
