About Skilltero

Skilltero is an India-based EdTech platform providing personalized one-on-one online tutoring to students in India and internationally. We are looking for passionate, qualified and experienced tutors across multiple subjects to join our growing teaching team.

Subjects We Are Hiring For:

• Mathematics
• Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)
• English
• Chess
• Art and Drawing
• Yoga
• Music (Vocal, Guitar, Keyboard and other instruments)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct engaging one-on-one online classes for students in India and internationally.
2. Teach assigned subjects according to students' grade levels, curricula and individual learning needs.
3. Prepare personalized lesson plans, worksheets, assignments and practice materials.
4. Explain concepts clearly and make online classes interactive and engaging.
5. Assess student performance and provide regular feedback.
6. Support students with homework, examinations, skill development and learning goals, as applicable.
7. Maintain punctuality, professionalism and a positive learning environment.
8. Coordinate with Skilltero's academic and operations teams regarding class schedules and student progress.

Eligibility and Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching or tutoring experience.
• Strong subject knowledge in the chosen teaching area.
• Bachelor's degree, relevant certification or professional training preferred, depending on the subject.
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience teaching children, school students or adult learners is an advantage.
• Ability to deliver interactive and personalized online lessons.
• Laptop or desktop with webcam, microphone and stable internet connection.
• Must be based in India.
• Flexible availability, including evenings or weekends when required.
