Field Technician

We are looking for a Field Engineer to handle installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of automation and security systems at client sites.

The candidate should be technically inclined, willing to travel to different project locations, and have good communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities1. Biometric & Access Control Systems

• Install and configure biometric attendance and access control devices.
• Install fingerprint, face recognition, card-based and RFID systems.
• Configure biometric devices with software and network/LAN.
• Troubleshoot device, software, communication, and connectivity issues.
• Provide basic customer training on device and software usage.

2. Gate Automation

• Install and commission automatic sliding and swing gate motors.
• Install gate accessories such as photocells, limit switches, push buttons, remotes and control panels.
• Perform motor alignment, wiring, testing and programming.
• Troubleshoot gate motor and automation-related issues.
• Integrate gate automation with access control and biometric systems.

3. Shutter Automation

• Install and commission automatic shutters and shutter motors.
• Install sensors, control units, remotes and safety accessories.
• Test and ensure smooth and safe operation of the shutter.
• Identify and rectify electrical and mechanical issues.

4. Site Work & Customer Support

• Visit customer sites for installation, service and maintenance.
• Understand site requirements and coordinate with clients and project teams.
• Follow installation drawings, technical instructions and safety procedures.
• Prepare basic installation/service reports after completing the work.
• Coordinate with the office team regarding site requirements, materials and pending work.
• Required SkillsBasic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of wiring, electrical connections and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of computers, Windows and networking/LAN.
• Ability to use hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Educational QualificationITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related technical field.
• Freshers with good technical knowledge and willingness to learn can also apply.
• Experience0–3 years of experience in field installation, automation, electrical, security systems, access control, biometrics, gates or shutters will be preferred.
• Additional ResponsibilitiesAssist in product demonstrations and site inspections.
• Support preventive maintenance and AMC service activities.
• Maintain proper tools and installation materials.
• Ensure work is completed within the given timeline.
• Maintain professional behaviour and good customer relationships.
• Working ConditionsField-based role with regular travel to customer sites.
• Work may involve outdoor sites, construction areas and commercial/industrial premises.
• Must be comfortable working with electrical and mechanical equipment.
