Production Chemist

Experience

• 3–5 years in Analytical R&D / Method Development / QC / QA within Pharma, FMCG, Healthcare, Personal Care or related industries.

• Freshers may also be considered based on suitability.

Other Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in HPLC and GC-MS is essential; exposure to HPTLC/GLC is preferred.

• Good understanding of ICH guidelines, analytical method validation and basic chemical analysis.

• Knowledge of NABL / API / AYUSH guidelines will be an advantage.

• Exposure to Ayurvedic / Herbal products is preferred.

• Understanding of physico-chemical properties of products.

• Good written and verbal communication skills, Good knowledge of Excel

• Strong documentation, problem-solving and teamwork skills.

• Good communication skills in Hindi and English are mandatory.

• Proficiency in Bengali will be an added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee cosmetics manufacturing processes as per approved batch records and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment ensuring smooth production operations, Perform method validation, assay, stability and control sample analysis.

• Conduct marker-based assay of Healthcare and Personal Care products.

• Perform raw material analysis and support specification development for NPDs.

• Conduct pre-formulation, finished goods and one-time analytical studies.

• Perform internal calibration and routine maintenance of analytical instruments.

• Ensure laboratory activities comply with GLP, documentation and audit requirements.

• Collaborate with the R&D team.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of production activities, batch records, and deviations in line with regulatory and internal requirements.

• Monitor and control critical process parameters to maintain product quality and compliance standards.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations while promoting a safety-first culture.
