Procurement Executive

We are looking for a proactive Procurement Executive to manage purchasing activities for an automotive manufacturing facility in Hosur. The candidate will be responsible for vendor coordination, purchase order processing, material availability, cost optimization, and timely delivery of materials to support smooth production operations.

• Key Responsibilities
• Handle day-to-day procurement and purchasing activities for automotive components, spare parts, raw materials, and indirect materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with suppliers and vendors.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate costs, and ensure timely procurement.
• Create and process purchase orders (POs) and follow up on approvals and deliveries.
• Coordinate with production, stores, quality, engineering, and finance teams to meet material requirements.
• Track purchase orders, delivery schedules, pending supplies, and material shortages.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, quotations, and procurement reports.
• Support cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of automotive procurement and purchasing processes.
• Experience in vendor management, purchase order processing, and supplier follow-ups.
• Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Exposure to ERP/SAP purchasing modules is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
