CCTV Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible CCTV Technician to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV surveillance systems. The candidate should have good technical knowledge of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, networking, and related security equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, monitors, and related equipment.
• Perform cabling, termination, testing, and commissioning of CCTV systems.
• Configure IP cameras, network switches, routers, and remote viewing systems.
• Troubleshoot camera, recording, connectivity, and power-related issues.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance and system health checks.
• Replace or repair faulty cameras, cables, storage devices, and other components.
• Configure CCTV systems for mobile and remote access.
• Maintain records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with customers, site teams, and other technicians when required.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards during installation and maintenance.

Requirements

• ITI / Diploma / equivalent technical qualification preferred.
• Experience in CCTV installation and maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of DVR, NVR, IP CCTV, analog cameras, PoE, LAN networking, and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to use basic electrical and networking tools.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Fire Alarm System (FAS)

• Install, test, commission, and maintain fire alarm systems.
• Work with fire alarm control panels, smoke detectors, heat detectors, MCPs, hooters/sounders, modules, and interfaces.
• Perform loop testing, device testing, fault finding, and system troubleshooting.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and periodic inspection of fire alarm systems.
• Maintain records of testing, maintenance, and faults.
• Follow applicable safety procedures and site requirements.

Security Alarm System (SAS)

• Install, configure, test, and maintain Security Alarm Systems.
• Install motion/PIR sensors, door contacts, glass-break detectors, panic buttons, sirens, and alarm panels.
• Configure alarm zones, user codes, and system settings.
• Perform alarm testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting.
• Configure alarm notifications and remote monitoring where applicable.
• Check wiring, power supply, batteries, sensors, and communication connections.
• Integrate security alarms with CCTV, Access Control/SAS, FAS, and BAS/BMS where required.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and periodic system inspections.
• Respond to system faults and rectify defective devices.
• Maintain service, testing, and maintenance records.
• Support system installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Follow site safety, security, and operational procedures.

Training & Salary

• Training will be provided to selected candidates on CCTV, FAS, BAS/BMS, SAS/Access Control, and Security Alarm Systems.
• Candidates with basic technical knowledge and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
