Job Description – Senior Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

* Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including sales, purchase, and ledger entries.

* Handle GST registration, GST returns, reconciliation, and compliance.

* Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, and companies.

* Handle company registration, business registration, and related documentation.

* Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and preparation of audit reports.

* Maintain books of accounts, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and financial reports.

* Manage TDS calculations, returns, and related compliance.

* Ensure timely filing of GST, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.

* Handle client communication and provide accounting and taxation support.

* Supervise junior accountants and verify their work.

* Maintain proper financial records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Required Skills:

* Strong knowledge of accounting, GST, ITR, audit, and taxation.

* Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.

* Knowledge of MCA portal and online tax filing portals.

* Good communication, analytical, and client-handling skills.

* Ability to manage multiple clients and meet filing deadlines.

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com; CA Inter preferred.

Experience: 3–5 years in a CA firm or accounting and taxation practice.
