Job Description
- Job Responsibilities – Site SupervisorSupervise and manage day-to-day site activities for prefab, modular and construction projects.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, workers and the office team for smooth execution of projects.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, measurements, specifications and timelines.
- Supervise installation of prefab structures, MS structures, roofing, wall panels, doors, windows, flooring and other finishing works.
- Manage and monitor labour and subcontractors at site.
- Check the quality of materials and workmanship and report any issues immediately.
- Take site measurements and maintain daily progress records.
- Ensure proper use, storage and handling of construction materials at site.
- Coordinate material requirements with the office/procurement team and ensure timely availability at site.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within the scheduled timeline.
- Coordinate with clients at site regarding day-to-day execution requirements, while keeping management informed of important decisions.
- Identify site-related issues and provide practical solutions in coordination with the engineer/project manager.
- Ensure proper safety practices are followed by workers at the site.
- Maintain daily site reports including labour attendance, material consumption, work completed and pending activities.
- Take photographs/videos of daily progress and share regular updates with the office.
- Check measurements and quantities of completed work before reporting for billing.
- Ensure the site is kept clean and organised during and after execution.
- Coordinate snagging, rectification and final handover activities.
- Be willing to travel to project sites as required.
- Preferred Candidate2–5 years of experience in construction, prefab, modular structures or civil/site supervision.
- Basic understanding of MS structures, roofing, PUF/insulated panels, civil work and finishing work.
- Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings.
- Good labour management and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of measurements and construction quantities.
- Responsible, punctual and capable of independently handling site activities.
- Willingness to travel/stay at project sites when required.
- Experience with prefab/modular construction will be an added advantage.
