About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and technical Software Support Engineer to join our team in Gurugram. In this role, you will be the backbone of our client deployments, responsible for setting up database environments, installing web and desktop applications on client servers, and ensuring smooth operations through dedicated remote support.

Whether you are a fresh graduate eager to build your career in database management and software support, or an experienced professional in the biometric and payroll space, this role offers excellent hands-on technical exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) on client systems and servers.
• SQL Operations: Create databases, manage backups, and write/execute SQL queries to troubleshoot data issues or fulfill client requests.
• Software Deployment: Install, configure, and host web-based and desktop applications on remote client servers.
• Remote Technical Support: Act as the first point of contact for clients, diagnosing and resolving software, hosting, and database-related issues remotely.
• System Maintenance: Ensure client servers and applications are running smoothly, applying updates and patches as necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Database Skills: Solid fundamental understanding of MSSQL, relational databases, and writing SQL queries.
• Server/Hosting Knowledge (Preferred): Basic understanding of web hosting, Windows Server environments, and application deployment.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues remotely.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively guide clients through technical solutions.

Bonus Points (Preferred)

• Prior experience or knowledge of the Biometric, Time & Attendance, or Payroll software industry.
• Familiarity with remote desktop tools (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, RDP).
