Job Description – 3D Sofa / Furniture Designer Position: 3D Sofa / Furniture Designer

Job Summary We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented 3D Sofa / Furniture Designer who has hands-on experience in designing and visualizing sofas and furniture products.

The candidate will be responsible for creating accurate 3D sofa models, realistic renders, and new furniture designs based on product requirements, reference images, and specifications.

• Key Responsibilities Create detailed 3D models of sofas and furniture products.
• Design new sofa models based on requirements, references, and current furniture trends.
• Create realistic 3D renders of sofas with proper materials, fabrics, colours, textures, and lighting.
• Convert reference images, sketches, and concepts into accurate 3D sofa models.
• Ensure correct dimensions, proportions, shape, structure, and detailing of furniture designs.
• Modify and revise designs based on feedback from the design and management teams.
• Prepare high-quality product renders for catalogues, websites, marketplaces, and marketing purposes.
• Work on different sofa styles, configurations, fabrics, colours, and finishes.
• Coordinate with the production/merchandising team to understand product specifications and feasibility.
• Maintain organized 3D files, renders, and design references.
• Stay updated with new sofa and furniture design trends.
• Required Skills Strong knowledge of 3D modelling and product rendering.
• Hands-on experience in sofa/furniture 3D designing is preferred.
• Good understanding of furniture dimensions, proportions, materials, fabrics, and finishes.
• Strong visualization and design sense.
• Good understanding of lighting, textures, colours, and realistic rendering.
• Ability to understand a reference image and recreate it accurately in 3D.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete designs within deadlines.

Software Skills Must Have:

• 3ds Max
• V-Ray or Corona Renderer

Good to Have:

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• Photoshop
• Qualification & Experience Diploma/Degree in Furniture Design, Product Design, Interior Design, 3D Design, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience specifically in sofa/furniture 3D modelling and rendering will be highly preferred.
• Portfolio of sofa/furniture 3D designs is preferred.
• Ideal Candidate Creative with a strong understanding of furniture aesthetics.
• Good visualization and modelling skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple designs.
• Comfortable working on revisions and feedback.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Passionate about furniture and sofa design.

Salary: Up to ₹28,000 In-Hand per month

Location: Gurgaon
