Job Description:

The Lemon Bowl, a catering and plated home-food delivery brand based in Gurgaon, is hiring a Commis 2 (Continental) to support the Continental section of our kitchen. The role involves preparing Continental dishes under the guidance of the CDP, maintaining mise-en-place, and ensuring consistent quality across daily delivery orders and catering events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the CDP in preparing Continental dishes — soups, salads, pastas, sauces, and grills/mains
• Prepare and maintain mise-en-place ahead of service and events
• Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and plating guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the section as per FSSAI standards
• Support stock checks and communicate shortages to the CDP/Sous Chef
• Assist with high-volume prep during catering orders
• Follow instructions from the CDP/Sous Chef and maintain discipline during service

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience as a Commis in Continental cuisine (hotel, restaurant, or catering kitchen)
• Basic knowledge of Continental cooking techniques and ingredients
• Willingness to learn and work under supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
