Job Description
A Cashier is responsible for handling customer payments, preparing accurate bills, maintaining daily cash records, and supporting smooth front-desk operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handle cash, card, UPI, and other customer payments.
- Prepare bills, invoices, receipts, and payment records accurately.
- Maintain daily cash collection and closing reports.
- Coordinate with the sales and accounts teams regarding payments and pending balances.
- Ensure all transactions are properly recorded in the system.
- Assist customers with billing and payment-related queries.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy while handling financial transactions.
- Support basic administrative and store-related tasks when required.
Preferred Skills: Basic accounting knowledge, good numerical accuracy, computer proficiency, attention to detail, and professional customer communication.
